  • 2 Reasons Why You Are Responsible For Your Life

“I am the captain of my soul. I am the master of my fate” – William Henley. If you didn’t know, now you know that you are solely responsible for your life. The choices and decisions you make are your responsibility.

Stop blaming other people for your under achievements and take responsibility to correct them. Humans have a tendency of playing the blame game. We want to have an excuse for our failures and inadequacies.

Most of the time we want to find someone or something to blame when things are not going right.

But do you realise that most of the time, if not all time we are responsible for the outcome of our decisions?

If you make poor or bad choices do you expect to have good or better results? Why then do you want to blame other people for your choices?

This lack of being in control of our lives has cost many of us opportunities for growth.

Look if I had been in total control of my life from a young age I know for sure that I could have achieved many things. Am pretty sure you can relate to this as well.

However, the fact that I have not progressed as desired does not preclude me from being accountable for my life. It is my responsibility to ensure that I achieve and attain my God given destiny.

I know for sure that we all want to live a good and pleasant. But, every good thing comes with a price.

For you to live a good life you must first take responsibility and be prepared to pay the price and usually it is a very high one.

Sometimes the small things we do may seem to be insignificant. Well you are wrong, success is doing the small things that need to be done and when added up they become significant.

Being responsible makes you feel at peace with yourself. As human beings we do not like being associated with negative results. But remember that it is the movement from negative to positive that determines the level of your success.

Personal development and self-improvement starts from being responsible for your life. When you are in control of your life it is much easier to chart the course for your life.

Yes, things will not always go accordingly, but you will learn to handle disappointments more maturely and improve on your weaknesses.

    The Need to Be Accountable

“Some men have thousands of reasons why they cannot do what they want to; all they need is one reason why they can” – Willis Whitney.

“A desire to be in charge of our own lives, and a need for control is born in each of  us. It is essential to our mental health, and our success, that we take control” – Robert F. Bennett.

When I was growing up I had no sense of accountability. For me life was just about enjoying myself and nothing else. But slowly as I approached my teens and advanced in my education things started to change.

The demand from my Dad to perform better and keep up with school work, made me realise that I needed to be accountable for my life. At least then, it was out of fear of being reprimanded by my Dad.

I thank God and give a lot of credit to my late Dad for the role he played in making me realise that I needed to be accountable for my life not only to myself but to him as well. This was a game-changer for my life.

Being able to be accountable made me realise that I also needed to be in charge of my life. Because you will not be able to give a positive account if you do not know what you are doing. I think being accountable makes you responsible.

Fast forward, am no longer accountable to my Dad but I have a wife and children that look up to me. Apart from God and society at large these are the people that am directly accountable to.

You see because I now have my own family and they depend on me, I have learned that my life is not just about me. It is also about them. I need to strike a balance between my needs and also meet their needs.

So far they have been very supportive of my work and I really thank them. But I do not take it for granted.

Being accountable to someone makes you grow as an individual. It also helps you measure the level of your growth. If you do not have someone you are answerable to, it takes a lot of discipline to stay focused.

I encourage you to find someone you can be answerable to. I know that the temptation especially for us men to wanting freedom is greater, but if you want to have better control of your life you need to have someone who can help you be in check.

One Day You Will Be Answerable

“Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God” – Leo Buscaglia.

I believe in God and the resurrection and that we were all created by him. I also believe that there is a heaven and hell somewhere.

The one who gives us life on a daily basis will one day demand an explanation of how we lived our lives on earth.

We will be answerable to him, that is why we must try as much as possible to live according to his word.

I have developed a never give up mentality because for every day that I wake up, I believe that God still has use for me.

Oh yes, I know that some things have eluded me, but I also believe that there are much better opportunities to come for me.

Always look to the brighter side of life. Stop complaining about going through the darkest side of life. If not you, then who?

Get on and do the right thing bearing in mind that one day you will be answerable to your creator.

    Conclusion

Life is too short. Focus from this day forward on making a difference. It is your responsibility to ensure that you attain your God-given destiny.

With each choice you make, you create your life. Choose wisely and above all be responsible for your life.

  • The 4 Keys to Success

Everyone wants to achieve personal success. Every one of us wants to learn the ropes of being successful. We all have one common goal in life. To be successful and live a happy and fulfilling life.

We all have a desire to make a difference in the world. But many of us struggle to triumph and live a below-average life style.

Many have read on the subject of personal success. Many, if not all are students of the subject. Only a few are good students and are successful. While many fall in the category of bad students and are struggling.

It is almost impossible to understand the subject of success in one attempt. However, in all the books I have come across, there are similarities. The presentations and presenters, may be different but most of them have similar themes and methods of achieving success.

There are basically 4 keys that you need to help you achieve your success and these are:-

    Write Down Your Goals

Without writing down your own goals, you will be shooting in the air; you will just be drifting and moving along aimlessly; you will be at the bottom of the park which is crowded. To have meaningful success you need to write down your goals and start working on them.

This is the only way to measure your success. Your written down goals have to be measurable and specific. I like to personalise them by saying “I earn so much by such a date; I have done this by such a date.”

You are the only person that can use the “I” for yourself. No one else can use it on you. Making such pronouncements helps to immediately know the exact target and the expected results. It also sets a deadline. Being exact with the goal gives motivation every time you read it.

Since the goals are measurable, if, by the set date, I have not achieved the target, I simply adjust the date accordingly. However, I do not adjust the goal because by then my mind is already conditioned and working to achieve the set goal.

Remember that the goals you set must be those that are in tandem with your overall life’s objectives. They must help you get closer to achieving your life’s intended purpose.

Do not underestimate the power of writing down your goals. I usually carry around a notebook with me. Where I write down ideas and many other personal things. Don’t just rely on your memory, write down your goals.

    Set a Deadline

Everything in life has a useful shelf life. Some things have a much longer useful shelf life than others. That is why deadlines are important. They make you work extra hard. We are always working to beat deadlines because we all know that time waits for no one.

Setting reasonable deadlines is also key to ensuring that you achieve your success. Reasonable deadlines are those that give you ample time to be creative, work, and stay motivated. I have found that short deadlines can be a source of frustration especially if the goals are not achieved.

Everyone has an optimum point when they give in their best. This is the time when you are full of energy and enthusiastic for life. The time when you can take on any challenge without much of a problem. This is the best time to ensure that you work extra hard to do the right things.

If you are relatively younger this is the best time to ensure that you put your act together. Stop fooling around. Get to work and you will enjoy the benefits later. I know that a day will come when those energy levels will be a thing of the past. Ask those who are well advanced in age and they will tell you.

The way I set my goals is that they include a deadline in the goal itself so am always in the know if am working beyond my expected deadline date. The thing with having deadlines is that your mind is tuned in and expectant to achieve a result at the set time.

I have noticed that somehow your mind is constantly alert to your deadline and this keeps you working towards achieving or beating the set deadline.

    Take Action

They say actions speak louder than words. Yes, it is important to set goals and having deadlines. But, setting goals and having deadlines will not achieve anything if you do not take action. Most of our plans die a natural death because we do not act on them. Taking action will ensure that you start moving towards your goals.

Create a habit of taking action that will help you achieve your goals on a daily basis. Take one step at a time. If your goal is to make say US$200,000 by say 31 December, decide how you are going to make this money and get started with the process.

We have a habit of just making good pronouncements and leaving everything to God. Look, God is not going to make you rich without you playing your part. God will open an opportunity for you and it is entirely up to you to cease it and make good use of it.

You have a big part to play in God’s picture. I have noticed a tendency, especially amongst us Christians of saying “I receive in Jesus’ name” when a preacher makes certain pronouncements and we leave it at that.

Yes, receive it and start working on actualising the pronouncement by taking action. Get up and go to work. The bible says “the Lord will bless the work of your hands.” Those who succeed are those who try and take action. It is better to die trying.

    Persist Until You Succeed

Success does not come easy and does not come cheap. If it were easy, then we would all have been successful. There would have been no need to talk about it. But we talk about it because we know the challenges that people will face on the path to success.

Yes, things will not always go according to your plan, and most of the time they never, but when you persist you will triumph over any challenge. Persistence is key to your success. Those who are successful are those who are resilient and persistent. They know that challenges have to be conquered.

Without persistence, you are surely doomed to fail. Because along the way to success you will be met with many of them. Some of these challenges may look to be insurmountable. Your success will be largely determined by your persistence.

The bigger your goals are the more hard work and persistence you need to have. Be prepared that on your journey to success you will be greatly tested. You will need to focus on the things that you have an influence on, as these are the things that will help you overcome your challenges.

    Conclusion

“Successful people tend to become more successful because they are always thinking about their successes” – Brian Tracy.

There are many ways to succeed but the above are key for me and they seem to work so far. You can devise what works for you but I reckon that they will not be very different from mine. We are all wired to succeed and the ball is in our hands.

  • Learn to Keep Your Dreams Alive

The key to happiness is having dreams. The key to success is making your dreams come true.

We all have dreams, but life can be a discouragement. Life has a way of pushing our dreams backwards.

We all have gone through a rough patch in our lives and this may have resulted in you burying your dreams. There are various reasons why your dreams could be buried.

Some dreams are buried under bad health; some are buried under divorce and still, most people are buried with their dreams. Dr. Myles Monroe says the richest place on earth is the cemetery.

This is where you find songs that have never been sung; books that have never been written; paintings that have never been painted; businesses that have never been actualised; buildings that have never been built and many other dreams that will never be realised.

Even though your dreams have been buried, for as long as you still have the breath of life they are still alive, God has not forgotten about them. Your dreams may be buried but they are not dead.

Most of us are discouraged when we are met with temporal adversity. But do you realise that obstacles are part of the bigger picture to help you achieve your dreams?

The adversities we face are part of the process we go through to actualise our dreams. The many obstacles that you will encounter are part of the journey to achieving your dreams.

Success is born from the challenges we face. Each obstacle you encounter is a stepping stone on your journey to greatness. Embrace these hurdles, for they are the true measures of your strength and resilience. Every struggle you overcome brings you closer to your goals. Keep pushing forward; your perseverance will pave the way to success.

The fact that you have dreams does not necessarily mean that they will be achieved without hard work and persistence.

Yes, it’s very important and necessary to have dreams but that does not guarantee that you will not come across challenges. Life is full of challenges and these are meant to prepare you and take you to the next level.

It is never too late to realise your dreams. It does not matter how old you are if you awaken the dreams that God put on your heart you will surely achieve them.

The bible says I will restore the years that the locust has eaten”. God has a way of giving us back our lost time.

Do not die with your dreams, but allow God Almighty to help you share your dreams with the world.

When God created you, he put in you all the gifts and talents needed to overcome any adversity and obstacle that you may encounter on your way to achieving your goals.

He put in you the ability to change adversity into diversity; the ability to overcome obstacles.

    Write Down Your Dreams

We must keep a hard copy of our dreams. Most successful people have written down their dreams.

Read goals and goal setting for more details. There is a saying that when you write down your dreams when people read them, they will most likely follow them and this will eventually help you realise them even more quickly.

Writing down your dreams also acts as a constant reminder. Every so often it is important to refer back to them and constantly remind yourself of what you want to achieve.

It is not easy to commit to something you that is not written down because you will not fully recall it after some time.

Regularly review your progress and make improvements. This can only be done if you have written them down.

I have developed a habit of writing down what I want to achieve. Every year I make resolutions and set out goals to be achieved.

I make sure that they conform to the bigger picture of what my life’s intended purpose is.

Life is becoming more bearable for me as each day I focus on what I want to achieve. Yes, sometimes I find myself fire fighting. But I always try as much as possible to learn from fire fighting instances.

Sometimes you may feel that there are too many setbacks, but do you realise that those same “setbacks” are “setups” to achieving your dreams?

They propel you to see beyond the current circumstances. In every bad situation, there is always something positive.

You may not understand it but I think God does not allow us go through the storm alone. He always provides a way where there seems to be no way.

God is always with us and he is always providing guidance. The current that determine our dreams and shapes our lives, flow from the attitude that we nurture every day.

Speak Life to Every Dead Situation

There is power in your tongue. What you say usually comes to pass. Remember that even during creation the Bible tells us in Genesis that every time God spoke: “it came to be”.

For example on the first day of creation God said “let there be light” and here we are today, we have light throughout the day.

All through creation we are told God said whatever he wanted to see and that is what came out and was created.

To me, this demonstrates the power that the tongue holds. We are in our current situations mostly because of what we hold as thoughts and what we have said in the past.

In other words, we have created our situations knowingly or unknowingly.

If you go about complaining about how hard the economy is and how things are not working out for you, that is exactly what will come to pass in your life.

Have you noticed that when economists predict a rise in inflation or commodity prices that is exactly what happens around the world? And the opposite is also true.

This is equally true even with us on an individual level. When we speak positively about our life things begin to change.

Therefore, it is important that you learn to always speak positive words of encouragement when faced with negative situations.

One source of encouragement is the Bible. God has promised us so many good things even when we are faced with adversities.

If you are sick, begin to claim your healing because the bible promises us good health and long life. “With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation” – the Bible.

It may take time but every time you speak healing to your body you unbury your dreams of being healthy again.

Begin to see yourself walking and living your dreams because God promised it. Speak positive affirmations to all negative situations in your life.

Yes, you may be struggling financially but remember that God promised that he shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory. Not some, but all of them.

    Trust in God

“Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name” – the Bible.

At the end of the day, we are all created by God in his image and likeness. Whether we like it or not the Bible tells us in Genesis, that we are all created in Gods image.

It’s like when we buy an appliance, the first thing we do is read the user’s manual and understand how the new appliance works and what its limitations are.

The mere fact that we take time to read what the manufacturer’s manual says, we are placing our trust in the manufacturer because they are the creators of that appliance.

We are acknowledging that the manufacturer knows the appliance better than us and gives us instructions on how to use it.

It’s the same with us as human beings. If we live trusting God he surely does not let us down. Yes, sometimes things may not go as we want them, but God Almighty knows what’s best for us.

All things work out for the better if we put your trust in God. Over the years I have learned to trust God. There are times when I feel that he is far away from me but my plans are not his.

I know for sure that he has much much better plans for my life than I can imagine. I try as much as possible to live my life according to his plans.

The fact that am still alive is testimony enough that God cares about me. You may not realise it but we all have many things to thank God for.

If it’s wealth, I believe that this world has more than enough to go round for all the 6 billion + inhabitants.

Most of the time we find ourselves on the wrong end because we ignore what God is telling us, and usually, this is done out of selfish motives.

There is a time I learned the hard way. I was trying to grow some tomatoes on a large scale for sale.

God had clearly told me to do my own seedlings, this would have meant that I plant the seeds and wait for at least a month or so before transplanting them, but instead, I decided to go and buy the seedlings. I was trying to cut down on waiting time.

They started very well and I thought you see I could have wasted time. My my my I lost everything after putting in so much effort and wasting money on fertilisers and chemicals.

By the time I decided to do what God had earlier told me, it was too late and the rains were upon us. I guess God was trying to guide me to work within his plans.

    Conclusion

“We should show our lives not as it is or how it ought to be, but only as we see it in our dreams” – Count Leo Tolstoy.

I believe that every reasonable human being has a dream, in fact, many dreams.

The difference between successful people and average people is that successful people have kept their dreams alive and are seriously perusing them.

If you are reading this article I know that you have dreams, it is my prayer and hope that you will ask God to not allow you to go to the grave without realising them.

  • There is No Safety in the “Comfort Zone”

Life requires that we move on while our human nature dictates that we remain in our “comfort zone.”

Unfortunately, our comfort zone does not provide for growth. When you remain in your comfort zone chances are that you will never grow.

You are most likely going to live a nonfulfilling life. If you have to contribute meaningfully to society, and to your own well-being, you have to move out of your comfort zone and explore the world.

Explore the unknown and be bruised and battered to create your own safety zone. Those that make it in life are those that embrace challenges.

Unfortunately, most of us do not embrace challenges. We would rather complain and do nothing about it. Complaining does not resolve anything.

Most successful people have moved out of their comfort zone and are sailing the deep waters of the sea. They are enjoying the exploits of the sea called life.

Whereas most of us are scared of exploring the unknown world. We would rather remain in our “comfort zone” which is not even comfortable when you come to think of it.

We see our friends progress and are envious of them. I feel that it is rather unfair to the world that we demand to see change when we are doing nothing about it. If you want to see change be the change agent yourself.

Change begins with you. It actually begins with a change of attitude in your thinking. Change the thoughts you habour.

All growth is the sum total of the small things that we do and have accomplished on a daily basis. Human beings are like a ship.

To know the strength of a ship it must leave the safe harbour and sail the deep waters. The ship must be able to withstand the stormy weather and sail back to the safe harbour.

You are the captain of that ship. You must learn to navigate through life and overcome the obstacles that come your way.

It is only by exploring the world around us that we discover many new and exciting things. I think that when God created us he designed us to explore and learn the world.

If you want to grow in a certain area of your life, you need to leave your comfort zone and start exploring new ways to improve.

Why Should We Explore the World?

You will agree with me that life was meant to be enjoyed. You cannot enjoy life to the fullest by being in the same position or place.

One of the best ways to derive satisfaction in life is by exploring the world around you. Many of us are even dead scared to move to new places.

We would rather die in one place and not explore new places. I am one person that has always enjoyed traveling.

It is through traveling that I discovered that there is more life out there than in the city.

There is more natural beauty out there. God created us to be explorers of this world. There are more opportunities to be of service out there than where you are.

I have discovered that the greatest joy one can derive from life is being of service to humanity.

When people appreciate your work it gives you more joy and satisfaction. They say sharing is caring, that is why I share my stories throw this blog because I care.

You know that it is very difficult to put up a building where there is already an existing structure. You will have to demolish it before you put up a new one; whereas it is very easy to build a new structure where there is no building.

Many of us tend to gravitate towards crowded areas, believing that safety lies in numbers. However, true opportunity often awaits in less populated spaces. Embrace the chance to carve out your own path where others may hesitate. Building in uncharted territories can lead to greater rewards and unique advantages.

No disrespect but I find cities to be crowded places. People are all fighting for very few or dwindling resources. I see buildings being erected where, some are being built where they are not supposed to be.

The world is full of untapped resources. It is, therefore, our duty to explore and utilise these untapped resources.

We are not doing ourselves a service by staying in one place and constantly fighting for the ever-dwindling resources when there are more places to be discovered and explored out there.

I believe that God created more than enough resources to go around humanity.

Imagine if David Livingstone did not have the courage to explore, he would not have known the existence of the Mighty Victoria Falls or if Christopher Columbus did not discover the Americas and many other explorers that risked their lives traveling around the world.

We would have probably not known about the existence of the many discoveries they made.

Take the Challenge and Leave the Comfort Zone

This year I have set myself a target to conquer some of my fears like public speaking. Yes, you heard me right. Public speaking is one area most of us are scared of, especially me.

My comfort zone has always been sitting in the background and let other people do the talking whilst I silently criticise.

To overcome this fear I have started preparing myself both physically and mentally. I am gathering material that I think will help me.

Am also already seeing myself as a very good public speaker. Not necessarily motivational speaking but to just speak in front of an audience and do it exceptionally well.

I hope that come to the end of the year I shall be able to stand in front of an audience and speak on a given subject with confidence.

You could also give yourself a challenge to overcome some of your fears. It could be the fear of starting a new business, the fear of relocating, and so on and so forth.

Yes, you will be faced with many obstacles at the very beginning, but your success will be determined by the way to rise up when you fall.

I always encourage myself by repeatedly saying I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me – Philippians. I also take comfort by knowing that if God is for us, who can be against us? – Romans. I have personalised the Romans quote by replacing “us” with “me.” I say if God is for me, who can be against me?

I am not a perfect person am far from being one and would probably never be perfect. I have my own struggles many of them for that matter and have never been better than most of you.

I still struggle with so many things in my life. Forgive me if at any point I portrayed myself as a perfect person, it was not and will never be my intention.

I have lived most of my life with so many struggles however, in the last 10 years or so, there has been a drastic change in my life.

I thank God almighty for giving me a second chance at life. Those that know me can attest to this. Am not blowing my own trumpet but just so that you can be encouraged from my own experiences.

Grow Your Faith and Trust God

“What seems impossible one minute, through faith, becomes possible the next” – Norman Vincent Peale.

Let’s begin by defining faith. “Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” – The Bible.

I believe and trust in God almighty for all the things that I do and hope to achieve. I think it is important to grow our faith and believe that God will help us achieve our goals.

There is a nice phrase that I learned from the power of positive thinking by Dr. Norman V. Peale and I encourage you to apply it on a daily basis “God is with me. God is helping me. God is guiding me.” When you start moving into deeper waters you will need a lot of encouragement.

Always remember that God is on your side and is actually guiding you. Yes, you will stumble along the way, but if your trust is in God he will certainly show you the way when you call on him.

Most of the time we remain in the safe harbour because we have no faith and we fear to fail. The more you grow your faith the more courage you gain.

I guess there is a direct relationship between faith and courage. The only way to grow your faith is by reading and meditating on the word of God.

Everyone who has ever succeeded has faith. They believe that they will achieve that which they have set out to accomplish even when they cannot see positive results instantly. Everything that is good is worth the effort.

    Conclusion

“The first step is to fill your life with positive faith that will help you through anything. The second step is to start where you are” – Norman Vincent Peale.

Being in your “comfort zone” will not help you grow. You cannot produce meaningful results in life if you are content with what you currently have.

You must show and demonstrate the desire and the will to achieve.

  • How to Face the Giants in Your Life and Remain Focused

Life, as it is, presents us with many challenges. These are the giants that have to be overcome every day.

From the time of your birth to the time of your death you are always overcoming challenges. You are continuously facing the giants of life.

These giants come in many forms and at different stages of life. Some small and yet some present themselves as big ones.

The ability to handle and overcome challenges is the difference between success and failure. It is what differentiates and transforms people’s lives.

People who are more successful have learned how to face and overcome their giants more effectively than those who are less successful.

You cannot achieve success without facing and overcoming the giants that lie ahead, that’s just the way life is.

The road to success is not an easy one. It is full of challenges that need to be overcome. However, do not be afraid of challenges, they are the things that help bring out the best in you.

Even when you are successful you will still be facing giants. You will still be required to overcome them. It does mean that those who are successful are excluded from facing their giants.

Make no mistake thinking that when you are successful you will rest, no no. It’s actually even harder to stay successful. No one is excluded from being faced with challenges.

    Have the Courage to Do

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” – the Bible.

Challenges are there to be overcome. Having courage is not the absence of fear. Successful people are not cowards. They have developed the courage to face their giants head-on.

Our paths are marred with a lot of thorny issues that are holding us back from our destinies.

There is no easy way or path to accomplishing your destiny. If you want to achieve more you need a serious dose of courage.

Hiding or postponing to face and confront a thorny issue only delays and prolongs the pain. It is better to gather the courage to face the issue head-on and move forward than to delay it.

The more you delay the more pain you experience and the worse the situation becomes. The worse the situation the more difficult it becomes to resolve.

Courage is what fuels and pushes you. It is what makes you take action. Without courage, there is very little or no action.

Without action, there can never be any meaningful progress to be registered. Without action, you are stagnated. Life does not move without taking meaningful action.

Develop the courage and willpower to take action on your plans. Remember the bible commands us to be strong and courageous.

    Be Open-Minded

To navigate through life you need to have an open mind. An open mind allows you to look at challenges differently.

It allows you to be critical and not just look at the current situation but also look at the future.

An open mind allows you to look through the current challenge. Some people see opportunities in the challenges they face and some will dwell on the problem.

The truth of the matter is that with every problem that comes there is an opportunity to be explored if not many.

Some opportunities are disguised with challenges. The problem is that some of us are more focused on the problem at hand and don’t look beyond.

If you take time to analyse and look beyond your current challenges you will clearly see the opportunities with it.

Look currently, we are still faced with the COVID-19 pandemic. It is obviously a challenge to all but some people have seen an opportunity to make money.

In the midst of losing people for various reasons, others are benefiting from the open opportunities being presented.

Don’t take me wrong, just like everyone else, I am equally affected by the pandemic and I sympathise especially with those that have lost loved ones.

But the truth of the matter is that the pandemic itself has brought or opened up opportunities that would not have been there before.

Who would have thought that a face mask would be an essential commodity?

Am very sure that the people who sell face masks have seen a sharp increase in revenues than say, people who sell lipsticks.

I want to believe that the whole pharmaceutical industry has really seen an unprecedented increase in medical supplies than before.

    Improve Your Skills

Having a good set of skills will definitely give you an added advantage to easily overcome the adversities that lie ahead.

It is, therefore, important that one keeps improving their skills to meet the ever-changing environment.

The world we live in today requires that we are constantly keeping up to date with what is going on. There is so much information that needs to be gathered and processed.

If you do not take responsibility to improve yourself chances are that you will remain stagnant and you will find it difficult to face and navigate through life.

Search yourself, and take stock of your skills. Where do you need to make improvements? What do you need to change?

If you are in business you need to expand your knowledge and management skills to advance to the next level.

The level of your skills could be the key to advancing you to the next level. Whatever area of your life that you think is lagging behind, makes room for improvement.

Take action, don’t just live your life on autopilot. Always be in control of your life. If you are not in control of your life I can guarantee you that someone else is in control of it.

Don’t allow people to be in charge of your life. What you want is to be the one driving your life. Be the one to drive and make decisions for yourself.

Take control of the things that are within your grasp and leave the rest to God Almighty.

    Appreciate What You Have

Being thankful is showing humility and it is what makes us human. Before you look elsewhere, look within yourself and appreciate what you have.

If you want to know what you have, take a piece of paper and list them down. Include all the things you think are less important, you will be amazed.

Most of the time we are quick to seek outside help without making an effort to search within. Appreciating what you have gives you a better understanding of what you need to improve on.

Besides, it is always good practice to just appreciate what you can see and control before venturing out.

Develop the habit of being appreciative. It will help motivate you to face your giants. Above all have faith in what you are doing.

When all things have failed faith is what keeps you going. The level of faith you have will determine the level of your success.

    Conclusion

Life will always present us with giants. How we navigate through these is what determines how successful we become.

The more giants you overcome the more successful you are. Do not let other people’s opinions deter you from achieving your destiny.

  • Your Attitude and Self Application Determines Your Success

We all want to be successful. Don’t we? If you are an ambitious person, am confident that you are determined to achieve your success; that you are working round the clock to achieving your success.

But being successful is not an easy fit. Because if it was, everyone one of us would have achieved our success.

The world would have been a totally different place than it is today. It would have been teeming with successful people. I can only imagine what it would have been like.

There are so many theories and formulas on how to become successful. Well,  I have not found an answer that is a one-size-fits-all.

However, reading and researching on the subject has helped me realise that there is no short cut and substitute for hard work and self-application.

Yes, you may have the desire; and that is very important; you may have the best tools at your disposal, but without the correct mental attitude and without taking action.

Believe me, you will not achieve your success. Why? Because you will not have taken action. It is taking action that is very important.

To achieve your success, you need to have the right mental attitude; you need to apply yourself because along the way you will be met with temporal setbacks.

Things will not always go according to your expectations or plans. You will fall down and your attitude towards these temporal failures will largely determine how well you will achieve your success.

Your tenacity and willingness to learn from your mistakes; to know when to make adjustments; to take corrective measures where necessary will surely give you an advantage as you pursue your success. You will learn that to achieve success you will need to be a good leader of yourself. One who knows when to make drastic changes.

If you don’t apply your self you are certainly headed for failure. Sometimes, when we are faced with challenges, we always look for the easy way out.

There are times I have felt like am dreaming and hope that when I wake up, boom the problems would have disappeared.

But guess what, if you do not attend to the challenges you encounter they are surely doing more damage and will surface back to haunt you.

I know for sure, that some challenges we face can be difficult to handle, but that does not mean you should turn a blind eye to them. Wake up from your slumber and face them head-on.

Keep Your Faith and Hopes Alive

The bible says “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” When feeling frustrated because of your inability to achieve your goals, there is no need to lose faith and hope. Never lose your faith and hope when faced with frustrations.

Frustrations are a part of life. They are part of the learning process. It is very important to continue persisting and keep your faith and hopes alive. Focus on the bigger picture.

Develop a mental attitude that will motivate you to achieve your goals.

The frustrations and challenges we go through are merely a way of building us up.

They help prepare us to handle even bigger responsibilities. You should know that being successful comes with responsibilities.

The more successful you are, the more responsibilities you carry on your shoulders.

Keep in mind the joy, feeling and benefits that accrue with accomplishing your success.

I know that it is not easy to keep focused when things are not going your way. But this is the time when we should exercise our faith and hope in God Almighty.

The Bible encourages us to put our plans in God’s hands. Believe me, he is faithful to those who are faithful to him.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is having faith without works. Yes, it is good to have faith, but the bible says that “faith without works is dead.” Faith alone cannot save you.

You need to take action on your faith to produce results. To achieve your success you need to take action on your faith.

How then do you develop this faith? Well, the bible says “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” The preceding statement is very loud and clear. You cannot develop faith without hearing about it.

Now, with so many tools at our disposal, we have no excuse to not have heard about the word of God.

The Bible is a source of inspiration for me. I encourage you to develop a habit of spending time reading and practicing the word of God.

Do Not be Afraid of Your Failures

“Failure is blindness to the strategic element in events; success is readiness for instant action when the opportune moment arrives” so says Newell D. Hillis. “Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go” – William Feather.

If you want to be successful you should not be afraid of failing. Failure is synonymous with success.

Those who have succeeded have failed before. The more you fail the greater the chance of success. Well, you may not agree with all these statements.

But the truth of the matter is you will never succeed without failure. So you might as well get used to the fact that being afraid will only prolong or indeed deter you from your success. Get over with being afraid of the unknown.

It is time for you to put your plans to action; to begin to realise those dreams. The more you act on your plans the more fearless you become.

Sometimes I feel fear is just a state of mind or rather laziness. Yes, laziness. I believe that it is better to die trying than not to try at all. “I failed my way to success” – Thomas Edison.

    Conclusion

How far you go in life is largely determined by how far you are willing to go. In other words, you determine the level of your success by the actions you take.

I found this article on how to increase your success chances very helpful check it out. Unit next time remember that your action and self-application determines your success.”

  • Learn How to Appreciate One Another

One of the most detrimental aspects of life today is that we do not appreciate one another that much.

We seem to concentrate so much on our own achievements. We have become more self-centered than ever before. The Ubuntu way of life has disappeared.

People do not just set time to appreciate one another’s achievements and accomplishments. They are more focused on themselves.

There is so much negativity around that we have forgotten the core value of co-existence. This however should not be the case.

No man is an island. We were created to co-exist. Created to live side by side to complement each other.

We were created to appreciate and accept each other’s uniqueness. We should, therefore, look out for one another.

Our uniqueness and diversity are our greatest strengths. It is what has made the world to be what it is today.

What brings us together is greater than what divides or separates us. All the man-made developments and creations you see around, are a result of our diversity and ingenuity.

It is a result of our ability to create. This ability to create is endowed in each and every human being.

Black, white, yellow, or whichever skin colour, you have the ability to create. We are all equal before the creator of the universe because we are all created in his likeness.

It doesn’t matter which part of the world you come from, you have a place and space to flourish.

    Be Thankful and Gracious

Being thankful is expressing gratitude to one another. It is recognising and appreciating the other person.

It does not hurt to just say thank you when you are served or compliment someone when they have done something worthwhile.

It will not take away any part of your being. You will still remain yourself. In fact, it only helps increase your respectability.

Being thankful also increases the chance of being served even better. After all, we are all looking for better service aren’t we? It encourages the person serving as this simply shows that they are being appreciated.

You will agree with me that it is much easier to serve a grateful person than one who does not show gratitude. You would rather deal with a thankful soul than a grumpy one.

We all come from different backgrounds with different situations. So if we have to live in harmony we need to put our differences aside for the sake of harmony and the betterment of our lives.

Because if the next person’s life is improved chances are that they will try and help improve someone else’s life as well.

Creating a habit of being thankful could actually go a long way in uplifting one another. It improves people’s moods.

You just may never know that you could hold the key to motivating someone and encouraging someone by the words and actions that come out of you.

    Be Available When Needed

I know that we are all busy getting our lives on track. I also know that sometimes it is very difficult to attend to other people’s needs.

But life demands that we make ourselves available to other people when the need arises.

Remember that for you to achieve what you have, someone sacrificed their time for you. Your parents or guardians sacrificed their time and resources so you could be where you are right now.

Someone was available for you to learn the ropes. Someone had to put whatever they were doing on hold just so that they could be available for you.

They say one good deed deserves another. If someone showed you kindness, why not take the time to show someone kindness

Besides, we succeed better when the people around us are successful. If you are in a leadership position, your success as a leader will be measured by how successful the people you lead are.

When you are climbing the ladder of success be it financial or personal success, it is not for you alone.

It is meant for you to distribute wealth by way of empowering those around you and those you come into contact with. Remember you are only a medium that God is using to reach many others.

The world would be a much better place if only we could spare a little of our time to help lift someone up.

Look if someone was available for you it shows that they cared. It may have been very little time they shared but at least they showed some love. It is your turn to show some love to someone who is in need of it.

    Lend a Helping Hand

There is always someone out there that needs your help. I don’t think there will ever be a time when no one needs help. We all need help most of the time.

Being available is not enough if you cannot be helpful. If you make yourself available make sure you are also making a difference in someone’s life.

Like I always say, helping does not necessarily have to be in monetary terms. There are many ways you can help someone. We all have no excuse not to help.

My former employers who are very prominent lawyers in our country used to help in cleaning the ablution block at their church.

Now, who would think a wealthy lawyer with all the money at his disposal, could clean an ablution block?

If you think you cannot find anyone you can help please join the many charitable organisations in your locality.

The world is in desperate need of people who can find time to help out. Try and always be the first to offer help. Sometimes, people might not have the courage to ask for help.

    Be More Sociable

Human beings are usually identified by the social groupings they belong to. Social groupings are an integral part of society. Find one that suits you.

It is from our social interactions that friendships are built and solidified. Most of our business networks stem from our social networks.

The more sociable you are the more dependable and reliable you become. What you want for your life is to be relevant and dependable in a group setting.

Look, what’s the use of having all the success and not being relevant to society? We accumulate wealth so that we can sure.

One of the reasons why we pursue success, apart from having a decent life, is to be relevant and contribute positively to society and humankind.

    Keep in Touch

Communication is key in every relationship. One of the ways to show appreciation is by communicating frequently.

In this world of the COVID-19 pandemic, things can change very quickly. Today you see someone, tomorrow they are gone.

It has become very cardinal to check on each other frequently. This is an area of my life that needs a lot of improvement.

With the coming of the new season, I hope to do more than before in this area of my life.

    Pray for Each Other

Prayer can move mountains. Those of us who are Christians know that our Christian faith is anchored on prayer.

Believe me prayer yields results. Prayer is very important to a Christian. The Bible encourages us to pray for one another and also to pray as a group.

Make it a point to include one or two people in your daily prayers. They don’t have to know that you are praying for them. Just go out there and appreciate them before God Almighty.

    Conclusion

Appreciating one another is key to achieving human harmony and peace amongst ourselves.

You can help change the narrative by showing appreciation and gratitude for the different divergent voices out there.

  • The Benefits of Living in the Now

Living in the now can be a powerful tool for reducing stress and increasing happiness.

This can only be achieved if you are living in the present moment and not in the past. We all have a past and believe me, some of our past is dented.

There is no one on this earth that has a perfect past. We all have skeletons in our closets. Even the seemingly holy people are not excluded.

Regardless of what your past is, living in the now can also have numerous benefits for your mental health and overall well-being.

By focusing on the here and now, you can let go of regrets about the past and anxieties about the future. Look, living in the past is bondage.

Here are some 2 tips for living in the now and enjoying a more fulfilling life.

The Benefits of Living in the Now

“Cease to ask what the morrow will bring forth and set down and gain each day that fortune grants.”

Living in the present moment has numerous benefits for our mental and emotional well-being. As mentioned above it can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve our relationships, increase our creativity and productivity, and enhance our overall sense of happiness and fulfilment.

When you are fully present and alert, you are able to appreciate the beauty and wonder of life, and you are better equipped to handle whatever challenges that, may come your way.

I know it’s not easy to live in the now, what with the challenges of life and what it brings forth. There is so much that needs our attention and as a result, we tend to overthink and are overburdened with life’s issues.

However, life was not meant to be stressful but to be enjoyed. The more you worry, the more energy you spend that could be used more productively.

The Bible says “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians.

Here are some benefits of living in the present moment:-

    • Reduced Stress and Anxiety – When you focus on the present moment, you are not worrying about the past or the future. This helps to reduce stress and anxiety, as you are not constantly dwelling on things that are out of your control. Remember that you have control over your mind and in turn, control over your thoughts, so watch what you think because they become your habits. As explained above anxiety often involves worrying about future events or dwelling on past mistakes. By focusing on the present, you can interrupt this cycle of worrying and reduce the amount of time spent ruminating on negative thoughts.
    • Increased Happiness – When you are fully present, you are more likely to enjoy and appreciate the little things in life which can lead to increased happiness and a greater sense of contentment. Look, happiness is what you decide. No one on this earth owes it to you. But instead, you owe it to yourself. You are solely responsible for your happiness. Stop looking for someone or something to make you happy. Decide for yourself that you shall be happy regardless of the situation you find yourself in. The only true happiness is found in Christ Jesus.
    • Improved RelationshipsWhen you are fully present with others, you are able to connect with them better, on a deeper level and this leads to stronger and more meaningful relationships. Imagine how it feels to be in a relationship with someone whose mind is not present. You are talking and they seem far away from you. That kind of relationship will definitely not last long if there is no drastic change. A good relationship is one with mutual understanding and constant communication.
    • Increased Productivity – When you are fully engaged in the present moment, you are more focused and productive. You can focus better on the task at hand and be more resilient in the face of challenges. This helps to increase your confidence in your ability to cope with difficult situations. The more alert you are the more productive you tend to be and the more engaged your mind becomes in tackling the task at hand.

How to Make Living in the Now a Habit

Making living in the now a habit takes practice and patience. One way to start is by setting aside a few minutes each day to focus on the present moment.

This can be done through meditation, mindfulness exercises, or simply taking a few deep breaths and tuning into your surroundings.

It’s also important to let go of distractions and negative thoughts that may pull you out of the present moment.

With time and consistency, living in the now can become a natural and rewarding habit.

So how can you achieve living in the present moment? Here are some tips:

    • Practice Mindfulness – Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment without judgment. This will help you to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings, and to focus on the present. In other words, mindfulness is being conscious of your current surroundings; being aware of, or noticing the things around you. It takes being deliberate to practice mindfulness. You need to tune your mind to be alert and consciously take in what is before you. Mindfulness entails having total control of your mind and body.
    • Focus on Your Senses – Paying attention to your senses can help you to stay grounded in the present. Take a few deep breaths and focus on what you can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. Be sensitive to what your body is telling you. Our bodies are constantly communicating with us based on our surroundings.
    • Reduce or Avoid Multitasking – If you are struggling with concentration multitasking can make it difficult to stay present. Instead, focus on one task at a time and give it your full attention.
    • Let go of the Past and Future – You cannot change the past or control the future, so it is important to let go of these things and focus on the present moment. Do whatever needs to be done today so that you may increase your chances of having a better life going forward. Even then,  you are not guaranteed that things will go your way. But doing the right thing gives you a better chance at success.
    • Practice GratitudeGratitude can help you appreciate the present moment and focus on the positive aspects of your life. Take some time each day to reflect on what you are grateful for.  There are so many things to be grateful for. Take a piece of paper and write down every good thing that has happened to you, you will be amazed. I can give you a few things to start with. You are lucky if you are reading this article as not many people have access to the internet. Actually, before anything else you are alive, which is the most important thing that has happened to you the more reason you should give gratitude. The list is endless, include, your family and you will begin to see the bigger picture.

    Conclusion

There are lots of benefits to living in the present. These are but a drop in the ocean. You must tune your life to start living consciously so you may enjoy the many benefits of life.

  • Self-Belief is Key to Personal Development and Success

“Believe in yourself” – Unknown. “First say to yourself what you want to be; then do what you have to do” – Epictetus.

Have faith in yourself. Without reasonable confidence in your own powers, you cannot be successful or happy. But with sound confidence, you can succeed.

Self-belief is a very important and key is in achieving personal development and success. Most of us fail because of the disbelief we have in ourselves.

The biggest difference between failure and success is the level of self-belief and confidence exude.

Here are a few tips that can help enhance your self-belief.

    Positive Affirmations

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” – the Bible. This is one of my favourite quotes. For me, this is the magic sentence.

Every time I feel down and out; when everything else has failed and I need to get on. I always remember that “I can do all things through Christ…” Believe me, it works for me.

I know that we all fall down sometimes in our lives but the most important thing is how you get up. One best way to help you improve your self-belief is to use positive affirmations.

Keep telling yourself, you can do it, you can do it, you can do it. This will build some form of self-belief and the results can be amazing.

To get more benefits from positive affirmation you need to change your mindset from being negative to positive. Look at the positive side of everything.

Encourage yourself to believe more in yourself. Positive affirmation requires that you change your way of thinking from “I can’t,” to “I can,” remember the magic sentence?

Many of the time we let great opportunities pass by because of our negative and mediocre thinking. We lack the courage and are ill-prepared when opportunities come around.

There is power in positive thinking and affirmations. The bible says “as a man thinketh so is he in his heart.” “You shall know them by their fruits” – the Bible.

This goes to show how important our thoughts can influence our well being. Change your thoughts with positive affirmations.

“Carefully watch your thoughts, for they become your words. Manage and watch your words, for they will become your actions. Consider and judge your actions, for they have become your habits. Acknowledge and watch your habits, for they shall become your values. Understand and embrace your values, for they become your destiny” – Mahatma Gandhi.

    Know Yourself

The starting point for your journey of self-development is you the person you see in the mirror. Yes, know yourself, your likes and dislikes, preferences and skills; it is the very basic need for your self-development.

Here I have listed a few tips that can help you know yourself better:-

    • Journalise and diarise your daily activities. This will help you analyse the events and how you reacted to them.
    • Look in the mirror and notice what you see. Yes seems funny but most of us have never noticed what is in the mirror. That’s you a “millionaire” in the waiting. A champion in the making.
    • Get feedback on your work and behaviour from the people around you especially your colleagues at work. In order that you have a balanced view, ask your critics as well. I have a belief that in order to make a good leader you need both sets of people, that is those you can easily influence and those that can stand up to your face and tell you no when you go wrong. Often times this is lacking in our leaders.
    • Study your relationships and how they make you feel. You may realise that no man is an island. We all have some sort of relationship be it at work or home. Relationships play a very significant role in a person’s life. Those in more strong healthy relationships exhibit some level of stability than those in unhealthy ones.

    Have Positive Expectations

Numerous experiments have confirmed that when you expect the best oftentimes, you get it and when you expect the worst the same will come to pass.

So at the start of any enterprise or at the start of a day or start of the year or season, look forward with the expectation of the very best. Here is a quote from Kalidasa (Indian dramatist).

Look to this day For it is life, the very life of life; In its brief course Lie all the verities and realities of your existence The bliss of growth The glory of action The splendour of beauty For yesterday is but a dream And tomorrow is only a vision But today well lived makes every yesterday A dream of happiness And every tomorrow a vision of hope Look well therefore to this day! Such is the salutation to the dawn.

This is a life-changing poem. In a nutshell, we must look forward to today and enjoy it in a positive and constructive way, because tomorrow we will reflect on it and have happy memories.

Like the man who had too many lemons and turned them into lemonade, or the man who bought a snake-infested land and learned how to make snakeskin into shoe leather, every seemingly negative situation can be turned around into something positive. You must learn to turn negative situations into positive ones.

    Mix With Positive People

One of the biggest drains on our enthusiasm is mixing with negatively-minded people. I am sure we all have come across or have such people in our lives. Try this out and see what the results will be for you. Identify someone who has a positive attitude towards life and one who has a negative attitude, spend some time with both of them at separate intervals, and note what you will be feeling after spending some time with either of them.

According to my results, I feel more at peace and relaxed with the positive person than the negative one. Positivity is actually infectious. The more time you spend positively the more confident and happy you feel.

You have two choices though if you want to survive being positive; avoid them, this though I would not encourage or better still train them and they will appreciate you when then get over it and you will have made the world happier by one person.

    Conclusion

Perhaps the greatest gift in human history is the discovery of the power of your mind to create almost every aspect of your life. You see, everything you can visibly see was conceived in the mind of someone as a thought or an idea before being translated into being. Your thoughts are creative; your thoughts form and shape everything around you. Think about your goals and have belief in yourself.

  • Give It All You Have to Succeed in Life

“To be a winner, you have to give it all you have.” Today is a beautiful day. Another day that the Lord has given us to conquer.

Do not worry about what you did not achieve yesterday, for yesterday is but history and today is a present. Start afresh and give it all you have to achieve success.

Concentrate on what lies ahead forget yesterday’s disappoints and look forward to what lies ahead. There is more that is ahead than what lies behind. There is more to be done than what has been done.

Today God has gifted you with another opportunity to make things right and reset your life for a better future. Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Things will not be easy but with God, on your side, you can do all things possible through Christ who gives your strength. God is the source of our strength.

What you need to do is to set your sight on the task ahead and allow God to be God. He knows what lies ahead of you and what is best for you. You must develop the tenacity to trust in him who is greater than you.

The fact that you cannot see him does not necessarily mean that he does not exist. He lives in you. The bible says that “you are the temple of the holy spirit.”

He is alive and has given you this day as an assurance of his existence. Therefore, today your commitment is to go out there and conquer the day.

It may not be easy but it should be done with pride and joy. If you fail today don’t give up try again tomorrow.

What you do now echoes in eternity. You are not only going out to create a better future for you, and your family but to help change someone else’s life. To be relevant to someone.

Whatever you go out to do must be in line with the principle of “do unto others what you would like them do unto you” for that is what God has commanded us to do.

Take Joy in What You Do

There is goodness in everything. Even in the things that seem bad, God is always telling us something. Things do not just happen by accident they happen for a reason.

I believe that he allows certain things to happen so that we may learn from them. Our duty, therefore, as human beings is to look out for what he is trying to tell us.

Sometimes good opportunities are presented to us when we least expect them. They are disguised in our adversities.

Today ask that God opens your eyes and your spirit so that you are alert to what he is trying to tell you. If only you can follow his lead, life would be so much different and better.

Many of the time we cry when calamity befalls us. We cry questioning God why me. Yes I know it hurts when calamity falls on you. But if not you then who?

I think rather than question God, negatively, we must try to learn from what is happening to us. We must ask God to reveal to us what he is telling us to do rather than concentrate on the negatives.

After the storm the sea is calm. If we do not learn from our experiences it is impossible to handle what is coming ahead. If you focus your mind and concentrate on the task at hand you will achieve your goals.

    Always Do the Right Thing

“To me, a winner is someone who recognizes their God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses those skills to accomplish his goals. Even when I lost, I learned what my weaknesses were and I went out the next day to turn those weaknesses into strengths” ~ Larry Bird.

In the quest of making it to success, always try to do the right thing. Cutting corners does not pay. Cutting corners only gives you temporary success. You just get short relief when you jump the gun.

Soon rather than later you will spend more time correcting your lies at the expense of moving forward. You will be going backwards instead of improving on your achievements.

I like to advise my clients especially when it comes to paying taxes. You are better off filing your tax returns and making sure you pay your taxes on time.

Otherwise, you will spend more time correcting the situation and end up spending more money on penalties than what you would have paid if you had done the correct thing.

Besides, doing the right thing gives you peace of mind. You can walk the streets knowing very well that you have nothing to hide. It’s only greedy politicians who do not want to leave office when their time is up.

Those who are in business will agree with me that they do not want to mess around with the tax authorities. Many businesses have gone under due to finding themselves on the wrong side of the law.

Sometimes it may not look cool to do the right thing, but that’s just the correct thing to do. It may not be cool with your peers but it’s cool with God.

Your rewards may not necessarily be visible now but in due course, you will be rewarded.

Be Proud of What You Do

If you are not proud of what you do for a living, I suggest you quit and find something else that you enjoy doing. Your work must be a source of happiness and you must learn to be proud of it.

It does not matter what kind of job or work it is. If that is what you are called to do then do it with pride. We cannot all be Presidents at the same time. One has to lead the other at a particular time.

History has taught me that those who start with humility go on to be very successful in life.

It is not where you are right now that determines your future. It is what you do with your current situation that propels you to your destiny.

Success does not just come on a silver platter. If it did then we would all be successful. Realise that your current situation could be your get way to greatness. Do not despise the days of your humble beginnings.

    Be Grateful For Life

You are alive today for a good reason. If God Almighty did not have use for you, you would not have been alive you would be dead.

The fact that you are alive you must be grateful for it. Some people have died especially in this error of the COVID 19 pandemic we have lost many lives.

Every day I wake up is a chance to pursue my dreams. The only way I know is to first be grateful for my life and my health and work hard towards achieving my goals.

Look, don’t take life for granted. Someone out there is looking out for you. Show some gratitude also, by looking out for someone.

There are many reasons for showing gratitude. Even if you are going through the roughest of times it is important to show gratitude.

Make it a habit to show gratitude even for the smallest of things. It is just polite to say thank you when someone is serving you. Gratitude is a sign of appreciation.

    Conclusion

Giving it all you have does not guarantee that you will succeed, however, it is the only chance you have.
