When you only commit to the people and things that are important to you, your family, or your career, the results are that your relationships will greatly improve. This will help you achieve your goals more easily and in turn, will make you live a much happier life.
Therefore, committing to improving your relationships will largely determine the quality of your life.
This website has become a huge part of my life. It is one of my most treasured assets. Most of the things I do are tailored to have a trickle-down effect on the improvement of this website.
I am committing my time and efforts to see the improvement and total transformation of the content on a regular basis. The relationship I have built with it, over a period of time makes me want to do even more. Such is the commitment I have pledged to see this website succeed.
However, committing to the success of it has not come easy. It has come at a great cost. I have had to pay the price of cutting down on so many activities and dedicated my efforts and energy to this cause.
“Cause change and lead; accept change and survive; resist change and die” – Ray Norda.
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us, but how we react to what happens; not what life brings to us, but the attitude that we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst a spark that creates extraordinary results.
By committing to the improvement of generating valuable content, I have learned so many things in the process, and have seen my writing skills improve. If you have been following my site you will realise that there is an improvement in the presentation and quality of the content.
I know that there is still a lot of room for improvement and I will surely keep pushing until I get there. For as long as the commitment is alive this will be one of the first go-to sites for personal growth and self-improvement.
This year I would like to generate more content, published on a regular basis. This means doubling my efforts and improving further on my writing skills. Currently, it is taking me longer than I would like, to generate content.
I would like to reduce the amount of time it takes me to write and publish an article, without compromising on the quality of the content. So far I think am on the right track. Last year I learned to write down ideas as they pop. This has helped me keep track of them.
This has seen me write down more ideas than I can imagine. Currently, I have more than 33 ideas that need to be translated into articles and published. This is more than a month of content if I have to write and post an article every day. And the list keeps growing rapidly.
What has lagged behind is the capacity to convert ideas into content. This is now the area am working on improving. Let’s hope that a formula will be quickly devised that can help propel me to translate the ideas into content on a much more regular basis.
If you have noticed, my articles have gradually increased in length to average 1000 words. This is a deliberate policy and standard I have put in place. In fact, it is my intention to increase the length even further, so as to fully give me an opportunity to drive my point.
Perhaps this is one of the major reasons that has caused me to lag behind in delivering content on a regular basis. The policy is to ensure that every article being published meets the minimum standard set.
To help speed up the process of improving my writing skills, am taking lessons from “Writing 101: Building a Blogging Habit” this little e-book has been an eye-opener. It has taught me many things such as practicing writing on a daily basis.
Let’s hope that the knowledge gained from it will be put to practice for the eventual benefit of the website visitors.
There are many benefits to be derived when you are committed to a cause. It entails dedication, ability to work hard and bear infinite fortitude. The trust you develop will surely not go without being repaid. The world gives you back what you give it.
Committing to a cause will ensure that you give your very best. Because you are committed and believe in the cause you will surely take time to do your best. When you give your best the best comes back to you. The bible says that one gives freely, yet gains much more.
Committing to this website has helped change my life. I have seen myself grow not just in years but also in character. Look, because I believe in what am doing I enjoy. Yes sometimes I have no motivation or inspiration to write but I still do something that helps to improve my well-being.
Conclusion
I would like to encourage you to make a serious commitment to any cause that you believe in. It could be your family; a charity or indeed your career. Committing to a just cause will surely help you discover many aspects of your life that you would have not known about.
I know that there are many things that you can dedicate your life to. Find something that really matters to you and give it try. Success is committing to give your best no matter what the circumstances. “Commit yourself to a- dream. Nobody who tries to do something great, but fails, is a total failure. Why? Because he can always be assured that he succeeded in life’s
most important battle; he defeated the battle of not trying” Robert H. Schullera.
