Appreciating the Law of Cause and Effect

Motivational Quotes

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” – Serenity Prayer.

“Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become your character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.” – Frank Outlaw.

“There are no secrets to success it is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.” – Colin Powell.

Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or the present are certain to miss the future” – John F. Kennedy.

“Cause and effect is as absolute and undeviating in the hidden realm of thought as in the world of visible and material things. Mind is the master weaver, both of the interior garment of character and the outer garment of circumstance” – James Allen.

Every choice we make has far-reaching consequences; just as all actions do. I’m a great believer in the universal principle of cause and effect.

What we sow is what we reap. What we say or do comes back to us. Every action has a reaction. What goes around comes around.

All the old sayings are true. If someone is stimulated and inspired, they have an infectious way of exciting and inspiring others.

When we give the best we have to give, the best comes back to us and in some way, we are rewarded. It may not be exactly the way we expect, but the more we put into life, the more we get out of it, the more good we experience.

I have been taught since early childhood that it is better to give than to receive. The great secret I have grown to discover is that the more I give, the more I possess, or have inwardly.

Cause and effect is not only a scientific principle but is also biblical. I believe that for every action there is an equal reaction.

Every thought is a cause and every condition is an effect. We must, therefore, be mindful of what thoughts we entertain on a regular basis because they have consequences. Know also that thoughts radiate energy.

Energy, good and bad, affects us. Every deed or action has a cause and effect, as human beings, we have a distinctive aura, an atmosphere, that surrounds us in our thinking, feeling, and actions.

Each choice we take makes a difference, for better or worse. We must, therefore, determine the value of an action by weighing it against the value of its consequences.

Consider the logical consequence of every action or choice that you make. You and I have the power to produce an action that will achieve a good result that is of benefit to many people and society.

We have a great deal of influence on the way we live our lives.

You Hold the Key

We consciously or unconsciously, choose what we want to produce, through our thoughts and actions. Our actions are mainly, influenced by our thoughts.

If you are always habouring negative thoughts most likely, your actions will be negative. In other words, your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.

This inner world depicts your predominant thoughts. With these thoughts, you choose the course of your life or rather charter the course of your life.

“Man breathes his own life into things until finally they begin to live of themselves and to multiply.” – Carl Jung.

As human beings, we are responsible for our choices. However, it is amazing to note that we always want to blame others for our shortcomings.

I believe that the best way to get the most out of our short lives is to put forth more effort. Our lives are made possible by the goodwill and hard work of so many other people.

We first have to give, in order to receive the full measure of the abundance of all the good things in life.

Choose wisely what actions of others you will pay attention to and those you will ignore. Be sure your actions will bring the results you desire.

When you are responsible for the consequences of your actions, when you are never satisfied with what you have done but are dedicated to doing more and better, you will be making a useful and worthwhile contribution to the universe.

In turn, you will be rewarded abundantly for your good work.

You are your choices; you choose what you want to manifest with the best-intended results.

If you choose the path that leads you to a good life, you will be living in the light. I believe that humanity is about service.

I personally derive a lot of pleasure in seeing people happy after being, served.

Why I Appreciate the Law of Cause and Effect

There are many reasons why we should learn and appreciate the laws of cause and effect. I will answer this question from the knowledge and benefits I have so far experienced from this law.

Knowing about the causes of things and the effects of the causes is surely beneficial in itself.

It would be right for me to say that the ordinary man, who has no knowledge about the law of cause and effect, is governed by his feelings or emotions.

Most of us grapple with unsuccessful lives because we do not know what the cause of it is. When I read about the laws of cause and effect, it changed my way of thinking.

You will appreciate knowing that the law of cause and effect states that “thought, therefore, is the cause, and the experiences with which you meet in life are the effect” just this statement is life-changing.

To know that your thoughts are directly responsible for your current situation is just mind-blowing.

It is the first step to unlocking your full potential and realigning your life. For me, this simply means that my mind is the doorway to so many things.

If you can change the way, you think, you can change your current circumstances. Therefore, we should be very mindful of what we feed our minds on.

Since they say you reap what you sow, you cannot reap happiness if all you feed your mind on is sadness.

Knowledge of this law has helped me to be making conscious decisions about my choices.

I keep asking myself if my decisions are beneficial, not only to me but to the people around me, if they make me happy and the people around me. What effect the choices I make will have in my life and how they will help to shape my future.

Believe me or not our lives are shaped by the choices we make. I try to make conscious decisions that are more productive and progressive.

Of late, I have learned to make proactive choices and have significantly reduced making reactive choices. It is not easy but I feel it’s something that has to be done.

This cannot be achieved, without being prayerful and persistent. Always seek God’s guidance in everything that you do.

“Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. It is not something to be waited for, but rather something to be achieved” – William Jennings Bryan.

Learn the principles of the law of cause and effect to help you achieve your destiny. In life, do not expect to achieve different results from what you are doing.

If you are expecting to be a good footballer, you are required to practice football and not basketball. Life gives you back an equal measure of what you give it. Bye for now and as usual remember to standout tall and be counted.
